I now look like a miniature newborn and not an alien!! I am about 10.9 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound. I am still pretty wrinkly until I gain enough weight to fill out. My eyes are developed, though the iris (the colored part of the eye) still lacks some pigment. I even have lips that are distinct, and the first signs of teeth are appearing as buds beneath my gum line. My big sister says it hurts when the teeth actually come in after I am born, but at least I will get to eat cheese with them.Mommy and Daddy have some pictures of me, but they aren't too clear. I have another picture session in January, so Mommy and Daddy are hoping I am more camera friendly then. The doctor was able to check all my parts and they are all there and growing like they should.
I am an international baby now. Mommy went to Canada this week and took me with her. It was cold. Over the next few weeks, I also get to go to South Carolina and Missouri (in addition to all the trips around Texas). Maybe I will grow up to be a pilot.
